DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood bought church, that it may be with Him forever.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a Holy life. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
We believe that the church is a people called out of the world and into God’s Kingdom; into a spiritual fellowship with God and His people (Romans 12:4-5)
We believe that the church is an army involved in spiritual conflict, spiritual warfare and is trained as warriors for the Lord by the Holy Ghost (Psalms 144:1, 1 Timothy 1:18).
We believe that the church is headed by Jesus Christ, himself, and that the Pastor is the under shepherd (1 Peter 5:2-4).
We believe that the church of Jesus Christ is called to do battle against the enemy in order to free the people of God from the bondage of Satan and sin (Acts 20:32).
We believe in baptism by full immersion of water for the remission of sins according to the commands given by Jesus and obeyed by a repentant sinner (Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38, 8:16, 19:5).
We believe that all believers should desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit and seek to operate in the gifts of the Spirits, which endows the believer with special talents and abilities that are evident in his or her daily walk, as well as, in their services to the church (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:5, 11:16, Romans 8:9, 15, 1 Corinthians 12).
